“I would like to share with you a case of use SaCo VLM for general anesthesia for laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
Please find attached pictures.
There is ongoing debate if supraglottic devices can be safely used in surgery with pneumoperitoneum.
This case shows that SaCo VLM is effective in such procedures, provides adequate ventilation and control of correct position of mask during whole procedure including moment of creating pneumoperitoneum.”
